The Main Staircase at Holt Castle had suffered from a water leak. The orignial walls were simply painted with a single colour paint to the ceiling.

We used air-blowers and dehumidifiers to remove the wetness, taking care as Holt Castle is a Grade 1 Listed Building.

The elaborate ceiling work was then painted using vibrant colours and gilded paintwork.

Flock wallpaper was used for the walls and we created bespoke gilt framing to surround the tapestries.

The chandelier was fit with a pulley mechanism, so at the flick of a switch the chandelier could be lowered for maintenance and cleaning.
