PCI was requested to install IPS toilet systems into a ladies toilet block and a mens toilet block at the Wickes Main Distribution Centre in Northampton. Each block had about six cubicles. In addition the mens had a line of six urinal units, all with IPS panelling. The basin units were also pre-formed to match the rest of the fit-out. We also provided suspended ceilings to the toilets, some ceramic tiling and all of the plumbing connections.
From this initial request we were awarded several more similar toilet fit-outs in four different Wickes locations.
Our site presence went from 3-4 weeks to eighteen months with all the additional work awarded to us.
Kidderminster fit-out
Following on from the Wickes toilet refurbs, we were working on some offices and stores at Hoo Farm Industrial Estate. And again the client added to our contract works by given us their own toilet blocks to refurb. We used the same manufacturer as at Northampton, but the walls and flooring we ceramic tiled.
