PCI have carried out bespoke fit-outs to high-end properties, including libraries, bathrooms, kitchens, ballrooms, etc. Holt Castle and St. Ives are a couple of examples.
Holt Castle
The bathroom with inset jacuzzi bath, surrounded by granite surround, fully tiled walls. The ceiling was plaster ‘Fountainbleu’ tiles which we picked out the moulding relief with gilding.
The Main Ballroom, had a tapestry fabric dressed into the existing panelling as a wall covering.
The bedroom depicting the Suit of Armour was The Tower Bedroom, with a striking four poster bed with drapes to match the two spiral staircase curtains and window curtains. The walls were adorned with fighting shields and swords.
The other bedroom, also with a four poster bed – but this bed was made specifically by our joiner together with all the other matching bedroom furniture. This room was en-suited by the same bathroom as pictured and benefited from the same ‘Fountainbleau’ ceiling. The bedroom and bathroom ceilings took six weeks to paint, as this included gilding to the moulding.
St Ives
A complete refurbishment of a beautiful cottage in Downalong, St. Ives.
The staircase benefited from bespoke stainless steel handrailing, new carpet and decoration. All lighting was replaced with the latest low energy stainless steel fittings.
The kitchen fit-out had every conceivable appliance. All outside walls were tanked and the exterior of the property decorated.
